1. EHDS attracts local attention in 2008.
During the first part of 2008, while maintaining the existing contracts, EHDS has been contracted by a number of clients in Maryland and Washington DC, such as
American College of Ostetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), Howard County Department of Health, Montgomery County Primary Care Coalition, to name a few. The contracts involved
multi media production, Website and data development, and data management and analysis.
2. The year 2007 has maintained the productive year as the company achieved in 2006.
During 2007, EHDS has continued or expanded its core services to its existing clients. In addition to its Web design and development services, EHDS
has completed several significant GIS projects.
3. The year 2006 has been the best productive year ever the EHDS has achieved
Among all the achievements, the EHDS is proud to be involved in multi-million dollar National Cancer Institute project titled: Appalachia Community Cancer Network; signed a new multi-year contract with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to provide portal services;
and signed a contract with South Carolina HIV/AIDS Council (SCHAC) to develop a database and Web system.
4. The EHDS has experienced significant growth during the first half of 2005
During this time, the EHDS has renewed contracts with almost all existing clients. In addition,
we have signed several new contracts including: a multi-year NIDA subcontract, the Asthma project for Puerto Rico, and the evaluation for the National Latino and Asian American Study (NLAAS).
5. Data Management Contracts for Pfizer Inc. and for Administration of Health Services in Puerto Rico
During the summer of 2004, the company received two new contracts from New York University and the University of Puerto Rico. We are currently conducting several clinical trial data for Pfizer Inc. (via NYU) sponsored drug testing. We are also managing the databank and analyzing medical records for Administration of Health Services in Puerto Rico.
6. NIH 5-year subaward (1 R01 AA012961-01A2) "College Impaired Driving Interventions"
On April, 2004, the EHDS received an NIH subaward "College Impaired Driving Interventions." The EHDS will develop DriveStraight.com, a web-based intervention software. Specifically, a Web tool will be developed to allow assesment data to be collected on-line and provide stage-matched introduction of the individualized feedback message, the individualized feedback, and a stage-matched goal selection. The graphic design with flash will be incorporated into these components to make the Web an interesting multi-media site with the potential to be used by all colleges in the US.
